Position Title: Mechanical Engineer I Responsibilities: Plan, research, and design mechanical products and systems related to pumps, motors, control panels, and pump stations. Use SolidWorks and other CAD modeling and analysis tools to design mechanical components and systems. Draw wiring diagrams; design and develop control systems for mechanical systems. Support mechanical engineering projects from conception, budget estimation, design, production, to installation and maintenance. Follow project schedule; track project progress; ensure projects remain on schedule and meet the cost and performance targets established. Write technical specifications and engineering documents; develop Bills of Material, technical product installation manuals and owner’s manuals. Research, analyze and compare various material properties; order the best materials for a given product or application. Develop methods and procedures for testing products and systems; analyze test data, summarize findings, and write technical engineering reports. Coordinate installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and specification; evaluate and recommend design modifications.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related. Courses taken in Digital Control Systems; Project Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting and Estimating. SolidWorks Certification
